Marking Correct Remarks on the Letters being Returned to Sender

This is regarding the Failure of Delivery Staff in case of Marking the Correct Remarks on the Backside of envelop in respect of Returned to Send Articles in the Division.

Where it was noticed by Karnataka Circle that the articles pertaining to ICICI, the Postman instead of making remarks on the back cover of the envelope, the window cover is being opened and the address portion is stroked out due to which the cheque book will no longer be legible and is destroyed.

In this connection, PM/SPM/SDH's are directed to issue suitable instructions to all the Delivery Staff/Postmen for cross marking the correct remarks on the back side of the envelope in respect of Returned to Sender articles.

Find the DO Letter below wherein Our only Division is pointed in this case of incorrect marking of Returned to Send Articles by Regional Office. Therefore you are directed to act upon.
